Oliebollentoernooi bij de Pingwins – Dough Ball Tournament at Pingwins

Schrijf alvast deze afspraak in jullie agenda: vrijdag 27 december. Om 20u00 stipt gaat dan het enige, echte Oliebollentoernooi van start.
Geroutineerde Pingwinners kijken al weken uit naar deze aankondiging, omdat er naast gratis oliebollen ook mooie prijzen en vooral prestige te winnen zijn!
Voor onze nieuwe leden is het ook een gelegenheid om zich in de kijker te spelen en vooral vriendschapsbanden met de andere leden te smeden. Ook onze vrienden van TVZ zijn weer uitgenodigd.
Jullie Bestuur wil dan ook samen met jullie dit mooie jaar voor de Pingwins feestelijk afsluiten met dit toernooi. Er zullen verschillende poules worden ingedeeld naargelang de sterkte van de speler. Ook kandidaat-leden zijn welkom. Ten einde de organisatie te vergemakkelijken, vragen we wel om jullie deelname op voorhand te melden bij Johan Govers (penningmeester@pingwins.nl).
Wij rekenen op jullie aanwezigheid, dus tot dan !!

Save already this appointment in your agenda: Friday 27 December. As from 8.00 pm sharp, the one and only Oliebollentoernooi (“Deep Fried Dough Ball Tournament”) will commence!
Experienced Pingwins have looking forward to this invitation already for weeks as we will serve free dough balls and lots of prizes and prestige can be won!
For our new members it is also a good opportunity to play themselves in the picture and to forge new friendships. Our TVZ friends are invited again.
Therefore, your management would like to celebrate this successful year in a festive manner through this tournament. We will organize several pools according to the estimated strength of each player. Also candidate-members are welcome. In order to facilitate the organization, we ask you to confirm your participation beforehand to Johan Govers (penningmeester@pingwins.nl).

Zuid-Hollandse Kampioenschappen Tafeltennis (Afdelingskampioenschappen) 2014

Op zondag 12 januari 2014 vindt de Afdelingskampioenschappen 2014 (ofwel ZHK) voor senioren plaats in Schiedam.

Inschrijfgeld is: € 10,00 voor het enkelspel + dubbelspel.
Locatie: Sporthal Margriet, Nieuwe Damlaan 5 Schiedam.

Wil je je inschrijven, meld je dan aan bij Denny Leung (denny.leung@pingwins.nl) vóór donderdag 12 december 2013
Vermeld je naam, licentie nr. en eventuele dubbel partner met haar/zijn licentie nr.

Dubbeltoernooi – doubles tournament 2013

Beste Pingwinners,

December wordt een echte toernooimaand. Op 6 december organiseert TTV Pingwins een dubbeltoernooi en het Oliebollentoernooi volgt later in de maand. En het wordt gegarandeerd druk, want spelers van SETT, TVZ en kandidaat-Pingwinsleden zijn ook uitgenodigd. Om de organisatie in goede banen te leiden, vragen we jullie wel om je voor 4 december in te schrijven toernooileider bij Steven van Looveren (toernooi@pingwins.nl). Deelname is gratis. Vermeld hierbij met wie je eventueel een paar wil vormen en ook of je recreant bent dan wel de klasse waarin je vorig seizoen competitie speelde.

Voor recreanten zijn er geen beperkingen om paren te vormen. Voor competitiespelers is het bedoeling dat de som van de klassen waarin het paar speelt, minimum 8 bedraagt. Bv. een speler uit speler uit de 2de klasse moet een combinatie zoeken met een speler uit de 6de klasse of 6de klasse XYZ (= klasse 7).
De toernooileider heeft het recht om paren te wijzigen in functie van een vlotte organisatie van het toernooi.

Dear Pingwins,

December will be the month of tournaments. TTV Pingwins will organize a Doubles’ Tournament on December 6th and later that month also the annual Doughball Tournament. Many participants are guaranteed, because SETT and TVZ members and candidate-members of TTV Pingwins are invited as well. To enable a smooth organization, we ask you to subscribe before December 4 with tournament leader Steven van Looveren (toernooi@pingwins.nl). Participation is free of charge. Don’t forget to notify with whom you would like to pair up, whether you are a recreational or competition player and, in case of the latter, the class you played in last season.

There are no limitations for recreational players to form pairs. For competition players, we aim to have pairs for whom the sum of the classes of both players is at least 8. For example, a player from the 2nd class should team up with a player from the 6th class or 6th class XYZ (= class 7).
The tournament leader is entitled to change pairs to facilitate the organization of the tournament.
